VP of Energy Procurement

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

Crete United is helping companies build for a sustainable future by implementing energy services designed to mitigate financial risks and protect their businesses from volatile energy prices. Energy Procurement is a core necessity across deregulated energy markets.  We are looking for an individual with analytical rigor and strategic thinking to play a key role in supporting clients and business partners through business optimization, financial analysis, and reporting.

Our energy procurement team is expanding and looking to add a VP of Energy Procurement based in Frisco, TX. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in energy structuring/pricing experience and possess dynamic leadership skills.

JOB DUTIES

• Lead energy procurement-related deliverables through a highly focused team of professionals under your guidance.
• Focus on client engagement to implement risk management strategies and routine reporting.

• Create Budgetary Proposals and Financial Modeling to aid new business, upsell opportunities and deliver value to new and existing customers.
• Subject Matter Expert in Energy Procurement and lead client presentations and an operational leadership role to foster new/renewal business.
• Understand all financial markets (debt, credit, private equity, etc.) and how we can utilize those to drive business results
• Develop and present applicable industry related company communication and training initiatives
• Oversee departments client blended rates for efficiency solutions proposals, and calculated ROI analysis

• Maintaining Trade Partner relationships within Crete United. Rollup department needs and KPIs to ELT teams. 

• Lead, manage, and direct team members duties and growth initiatives for Procurement team members. 
• P&L responsibility and growth targets of the entire Energy Procurement Department. 
• Work with the VP of Business Development of Client Close rates 
• Work with other leadership within Energy Services Teams. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in deregulated energy markets.
• Minimum 5 years experience leading team of 5 or more. 
• Passion for Energy Services and building a team. 
• Proven experience of driving KPIs and EBITA Targets
• Demonstrate strong organization and communication (written and verbal) skills coupled with a team-oriented, positive approach
