Associate Allocator (Timberland Americas)
What will you do?
As an Associate Allocator at Timberland, you will help shape the customer experience across North America! In this role, you’ll ensure our products reach the right stores at the right time, in the right quantities and sizes. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team of merchandisers, planners, and store leaders, reporting directly to the Manager of DTC Allocation. Your work keeps our shelves stocked and our customers happy.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
You’ll establish and maintain proper levels and flow of product to stores across the portfolio using data as your guide leading to positive conversion results.
You’ll analyze sales results to ensure physical stores stay within all capacity requirements and execute marketplace transfers as required
You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders on store ranking by groups to inform planners and merchants in buys by category to drive results in season
You’ll build store inventory during peak periods to ensure our consumers never leave a store disappointed
You’ll action walk reports to find opportunities to continue to surprise and delight our consumers
What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Proficient computer skills in all the pertinent areas – Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook. Bonus experience in Just Enough & SAP, but not necessary
Strong communication and teamwork skills, experience in Retail Store functions or the service industry preferred
The ability to respond and adapt quickly to changing business needs and requirements
The ability to do detailed allocation work accurately and efficiently, interpret results and take appropriate action
