Senior Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)

GCyber is seeking a Senior Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), to support a high profile DISA customer. As a Senior Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD), you will provide expert leadership and direction in the planning and designing of advanced cable infrastructure projects.

As a Senior Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), you will:

• Lead the design and planning of complex cable infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with DoD requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing systems and materials, developing effective design plans based on data gathered.
• Oversee the maintenance of Inside Plant cable infrastructure, ensuring reliability and high performance across various components.
• Develop and implement equipment installation plans (EIPs), maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency throughout the process.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff, communicate with clients, and participate in strategic decision-making to align projects with business goals.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience as a RCDD
• 3+ years as senior or lead RCDD planning, and designing cable infrastructure that supports the DoD environment
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification
