Job Title: Sr. Manager, Coaching and Capacity- R&D
Working Type: Exempt - Full Time

Location: Lake Forest, Scottsdale, San Leandro, Philadelphia (Hybrid- 3 Days in Office)

The Job

As a manager – Coaching & Capacity, you will collaborate with global R&D and Product Management leaders on ensuring that R&D and Portfolio staff are available in the right place to do the right job at the right time with the required skillsets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executes the Coaching & Capacity roadmap – aligning workforce planning with strategic goals.

  • Partners with execution teams to forecast capacity needs and skill requirements for current and future work.

  • Maintains R&D Resource allocation register and analyzes and reports on alignment of allocation with budgets and team topology principles.

  • Reviews and analyses the R&D Resource allocations for opportunities of internal mobility for meeting capacity requirements.  

  • Leads regular reviews with Talent Acquisition, sourcing partners, and execution teams to track open roles and hiring progress.

  • Coordinates with Execution teams in creating and maintaining role-based skill matrix.

  • Works with R&D Execution and Portfolio teams in Identifying, planning, and initiating training programs.

  • Provides a centralized view of Workforce allocation, Skill matrices and capacity trends.

  • Serves as R&D’s primary liaison to learning platforms like Pluralsight and collaborates with HR Teams to facilitate availability of all training and development resources.

  • Supports talent management initiatives in R&D – Early career programs, Competency Framework, Recognition program (RADAR), Employee engagement (PEAKON) and Organizing Internal Technology conferences/Knowledge sharing initiatives

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in a PMO/Technical Talent Development role supporting a Software Development function

  • Project Management and Change Management experience in large transformation initiatives.

  • Proficiency with workforce management and training tools

  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with data to guide decisions and planning.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills across business, HR, and technical teams in a global environment.

Hybrid working
