One-Semester Visiting Assistant Professor Teacher Ed

Become a Lion and join the Pride! MSSU is seeking applications for a one-semester Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning January 2025. Qualified faculty will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in face-to-face and online formats.

Applicants should have relevant classroom and teaching experience. Other responsibilities include student advisement, candidate assessment in clinical field experiences, collaboration with public school partners, and active participation in the department, school, and university.

A terminal degree in a related educational field is required. Successful teaching experience in pre K-12 schools, the ability to work cooperatively as a faculty team member, and willingness to invest in the use of current best practices and 21st century technology is critical.
