Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ). Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility.

This position will be based in Warsaw.
Position Summary:
This position will report to the Plant Design Lead in the Warsaw Office.
Responsibilities:
- 3D modeling of piping systems and equipment in a 3D model environment.
- Prepare drawings/documents for plot plans/general arrangements and piping isometrics drawings.
- Assist with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e., input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines.
- Assist with plans and schedules and prepare/maintain design procedures, standards to provide quality design documents.
- Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc.
- Perform coordination review of specifications and vendor documents as required.
- Ensure adherence to piping codes and local piping/plumbing codes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Basic Qualifications:
- Grade 25: AA/AS degree or certification in an engineering curriculum or drafting/design with prove experience, or in lieu of degree, a high school diploma or equivalent with demonstable and extensive experience.
- Grade 26: AA/AS degree or certification in an engineering curriculum or drafting/design with demonstrable experience, or in lieu of degree, a high school diploma or equivalent with extensive related experience.
- Must be authorized to live and work in country without sponsorship.
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience using a 3D piping design platform such E3D/PDMS, SmartPlant, PlantSpace, etc.
- Hands-on experience using a 3D isometric extraction program.
- Extensive knowledge & application of EU piping codes & working knowledge of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 codes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of EU and Local piping/plumbing codes & standards
- Prior nuclear piping and layout experience.
- Previous Bechtel Engineering project experience.
- Experience with Nuclear Power Plant Design.
