Summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Behavioral Health team. This opportunity will provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders in an extended primary care collaborative model.

Description

**Pay range is $40 - $45 per hour (must have TX LCSW)

**Hours per week: 12 -19

**Schedule: sometime within the following ranges: 1:00pm - 9:00pm M-F or 9:00am - 3:00pm Sat.

**Location: fully remote, MUST be licensed in Texas.

• Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence based practices
• Provide individual counseling and therapy for patients using evidence based treatment modalities
• Participate in collaborative care team meetings
• Maintain licensure and professional development as required by licensing board and PMP requirements
• Complete required documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
• Work closely with patient, family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Take timely action when patient emergencies occur and remain knowledgeable of company crisis policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required
• Relevant therapist license in the state(s) practicing (LCSW - TX)
• MUST have experience with pediatric and adolescent patients
• Experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds
• Knowledge of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent short-term counseling skills
• Experience with discharge planning
