Description of Duties:

The Data Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

·       Analyze processes to automate or find efficiencies

·       Conduct data analysis to evaluate program performance and outcomes

·       Automate metrics reports

·       Provide written reports to senior leaders on data findings to support data driven decisions

·       Take initiative to collect data from multiple sources, organize and report the data in an efficient manner

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement program improvements

·       Monitor and track program metrics and key performance indicators and alert team members when a metric is falling out of bounds

·       Assist with developing and documenting enterprise level processes and standards

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 6 years of general experience

·       Must have 6 years direct related experience in data analysis

·       Must have 3 years of experience working in a management or leadership role

·       Must have IRES experience

·       Must have experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

·       Must be proficient using Jira

·       Must experience automating metrics reports using software such as MATLAB, PowerBI, Access, Jira, OR other analysis tools

·       Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

·       Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, Information Technology, or other applicable field
