Sales Enablement Manager II

The Sales Enablement Manager will have two main areas of responsibility: 1. assisting in the creation, planning, maintenance, and facilitation of customer expansion strategy programs, specifically related to expanding our footprint with customers. As such, a large focus of this role will involve supporting the ever-evolving account and opportunity planning program for our field sales teams and will require travel. 2. Supporting our enablement events such as RKO, field summits, and onboarding bootcamps.
The ideal person in this role will have a sales enablement background and experience in creating account plans, running training sessions rooted in sales strategy, and running events. This person should have a desire to learn how to effectively present and facilitate relevant account planning strategy sessions both in on-demand and in-person situations for global audiences. We’re looking for a team-player who brings a "whatever it takes" attitude to succeed and further HashiCorp’s sales enablement team goals.
This role will reside in the Sales Enablement team and will work directly with peers on the enablement team, sales leaders, and SME’s. This position will report to the Director, Sales Enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee HashiCorp’s account planning program, report on its effectiveness, and work with sales/enablement leadership to develop its strategy for our field sellers with the goal of expanding our footprint with our customers.
- Deliver and facilitate account and opportunity planning workshops both on-demand or in-person.
- Effectively design on-demand content related to account strategy for onboarding and on-going learning.
- Be comfortable supporting or running enablement events including but not limited to: RKO, field summits, and onboarding bootcamps.
- Coordinate with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and Product Marketing and other areas of the business to maintain sales training, playbooks, and other content.
- Ad hoc projects to help the World Wide Field Organization (WWFO).
Skills and Capabilities
- 5+ years experience in sales enablement and/or events
- BA or BS Degree
- Experience with developing account and opportunity plans
- Experience running sales training sessions and/or workshops
- Experience running events for 200+ people
- Experience working with sales teams outside the US
- Experience with project and/or program management
- Confident and personable; able to work closely with individuals in other departments
- Strong presentation and communication skills; experienced collaborating with sales managers and direct sales teams
- Self-motivated team player able to prioritize and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
- Proactive problem-solver who anticipates and addresses problems before they arise and works cross-departmentally to deliver holistic enablement content
- Self-learner who can learn to use new technologies with minimal guidance as the role’s tech-stack shifts to meet evolving needs
- Willingness to travel (when safe) to deliver live workshops and/or events
