Overview
As a Sr Motion Graphics Designer, you will play a key role in shaping and executing dynamic visual storytelling that enhances our brand identity and connects with our target audiences. This position is responsible for designing and producing motion graphics, animated infographics, and high-quality video content across various digital platforms. You’ll collaborate with creative and marketing teams to bring financial concepts to life, support existing video podcast initiatives, and ensure a visually engaging experience from concept through final delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute motion graphics and animations that align with business goals and brand standards.
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content, including interviews, educational segments, and marketing videos.
- Lead the production and post-production process for video podcasts, ensuring high-quality visuals, audio, and branding consistency.
- Concept and storyboard videos that tell authentic stories and connect to our audience on a human level.
- Design and animate infographics that visualize complex data and financial topics in an engaging, easy-to-understand format.
- Create on-brand animated graphics for video content, including lower thirds, openers, transitions, and title sequences.
- Collaborate with writers, strategists, and subject matter experts to turn abstract ideas into clear, compelling visuals.
- Maintain a consistent visual style across content and manage a library of motion assets and templates.
- Stay current on visual and video trends, incorporating best practices into creative output and continually pushing the audio/visual presentation of the brand forward.
- Ensure all deliverables meet brand, compliance, and accessibility standards.
- Manage multiple creative projects and timelines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in motion design, multimedia arts, video production, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in motion graphics, video production, and editing, ideally in a corporate or agency environment.
Skills & Knowledge
- Proven expertise in video shooting, lighting, and audio capture, with the ability to produce professional-quality footage.
- Experience animating infographics and data visualizations.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and related tools.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, composition, and typography.
- Experience managing and/or collaborating with project managers and producers on full video production workflows—from pre-production to post-production.
- Familiarity with podcast production (video and audio), including editing, formatting, and publishing.
- Excellent storytelling instincts and the ability to simplify complex ideas through motion and video.
- Knowledge of photography and photo editing is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
