Cruise is seeking a Staff Engineer on our Integration Services team. The ideal candidate will have significant previous experience in Mulesoft, APIs, SOA, microservices, and Azure delivering high quality engineering solutions with hands-on mulesoft development, data integrations, and API development. You will ensure our integration platform is scalable and secure to meet our future growth and requirements of business domains. You will build partnerships with other team members, and vendors to scale our global engineering capabilities across Enterprise Apps.

What you must have:

  • 10+ years of experience in building enterprise scale applications and cloud centric solutions across multiple functional areas

  • 7+ years of experience with enterprise integrations and custom solutions delivery

  • Experience in middleware, data management and software engineering 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and tool sets

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build the integration platform that connects enterprise applications and the data platforms

  • Lead integration solutions and design across the enterprise using SaaS and cloud integration technologies

  • Partner with cross functional teams to understand use cases and gather requirements to design, architect and build framework of data and application integrations

  • Define, publish and communicate integration technology standards, frameworks, principles and roadmap

  • Partner with vendors, MSPs, engineering teams to ensure seamless end-end flow of quality data

  • Ensure integration architecture across the ecosystem is secure, compliant, efficient and scalable

  • Establish priorities aligned with the engineering, business, Digital Transformation and Data & Analytics goals

  • Understand the data flow from source to target systems

  • Understand the technology landscape of transactional systems, data management and master data layer, to analytics and consuming applications

  • Lead and own the relationship with software vendor(s) and service providers supporting integration initiatives

  • Assess the needs of product/engineering releases with respect to business objectives, security, data dependency, compliance, and timeliness of releases

  • Establish consistent metrics to measure quality of data and implemented solutions

  • Define, publish and communicate integration technology standards, frameworks, principles and roadmap, in partnership with Enterprise Architects and Solutions Architects

The salary range for this position is $166,600 - $245,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
