Farm Labor

To work as a team member in collecting, storing, and counting of eggs in different poultry houses.  Assist farm foreman in the general maintenance, and care of the poultry houses and birds on the farm.  Work without being frightened of chickens/ roosters. Will have to work in all temperatures, indoors and outdoors.  Work with others from all walks of life and have the ability to lift 40 lbs. and push 100 lbs.  Listen and take corrective criticism without getting upset.  Have to remove dead birds from the chicken houses and be able to properly euthanize birds.  

Be able to walk on unlevel ground, stand a lot, be able to bend, stoop, squat, or kneel.  Have reliable transportation to work. Ability to read and write and understand all aspects of the Animal Welfare Program.
