SALARY: $23 - $26/hour
SHIFT: Full-time hours with times to vary based upon season and business needs

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Farm Equipment Operator / Truck Driver at our Ft. Collins Nutri-Turf facility supports the Manager of Farm Operations. The Farm Equipment Operator / Truck Driver will operate various types of farm equipment to safely and efficiently complete job duties, apply pesticides to crops, and perform all irrigation operations. Detailed job responsibilities and qualifications are listed below.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely and efficiently operate various types of farm equipment (trucks, chopper, swather, front-end loader, backhoe, large tractors, pickups, ATVs and all the implements associated with each piece of equipment).
Apply pesticides to crops and for grounds maintenance with the use of a spray coupe, UTV sprayer and hand sprayer. .
Perform all irrigation operations which includes starting/stopping pumps, walking pivots and performing overall system maintenance.
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
Mow and weed whip facility grounds.
Clean equipment, buildings and grounds.
Effectively and thoroughly communicate with all team members.
Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures, safety, and sanitation practices are followed.
Conduct monthly inspections and control checks.
Champion safety and the use of technology to execute daily operations more efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Able to work in varying temperatures and climates.
Able to continuously stand, bend and twist.
Able to lift, pull, push and turn items up to 50 pounds required.
Able to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Experience with computer applications and mobile applications preferred.
Experience with farm equipment preferred.
Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL).
Ability to obtain pesticide applicator license.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
