Aulander Medical Practice, PA in rural eastern North Carolina is recruiting a mid-level provider to join our well-established family practice. We are independently owned and have served our patient population for more than 20 years.
We are searching for a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our medical team. The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will provide direct patient care to individuals presenting to Aulander Medical Practice for services provided in the areas of adolescent, adult and geriatric health, immunizations, communicable disease including TB, adult health, sexually transmitted diseases, cancer screening and preventive care.
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant performs physical exams, demonstrates advanced critical thinking skills, collects and documents data in an electronic medical record, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, provides direct patient care services, and makes specialty referrals for higher level of care as indicated.
