INDEPENDENT FAMILY PRACTICE seeking a FULL TIME Nurse Practitioner. Location is Norwalk, OH Work at a very family friendly, independently owned family practice. Have control of hours and schedule (upon reason).
Summary:A Nurse Practitioner is a mid-level practitioner who is able to provide healthcare services typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of a physician. A Nurse Practitioner is able to obtain pertinent historical information, perform a focused or detailed examination, order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans for patients. With a valid Certificate to Prescribe, A Nurse Practitioner is also able to prescribe medication up through schedule II-V.
What you will do:1.Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.2. Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition.3. Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.4. Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.Please note this position is posted on behalf of our partner practices.
