Senior IT Business Analyst - Veeva Systems

As a Business Process Expert, is responsible for Analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems. The Senior IT Business Analyst develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for systems considering such things as information flow, configuration setup for systems, volume, ad hoc reporting, analysis and document format in Fort Worth, Texas! In this role, a typical day will include:

• Drafting and documenting processes and formal development procedures.
• Leading, facilitating, and coordinating projects, testing, training, change management and system patch or upgrade analysis.
• Representing the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments.
• Partnering with business and technology teams to determine system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, execution of user acceptance, potentially coordinate or perform testing, and system techniques and controls.
• Appling knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow.
• Ensuring a complete understanding of business needs and objectives, and proactively proposes IT solutions for the business unit.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs).
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• 5 Years of Proven Experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
• Experience with validation of GxP applications.
• Experience in regulated industry (Medical devices) preferred.
• Experience supporting the Veeva Vault Suite of Applications.
• Agile learner willing to take on new challenges.
• Good communication skills, including problem solving and collaboration (working with and leading a team).
• Business Partner experience - collecting demand, aligning on priorities, communicating progress.
• Experience with Veeva Quality/Training.
• Desire to move into management/leadership roles in the future.
