Warehouse Worker

Overview

Returns Processor  

 

Warehouse hours of 6:00AM to 2:30PM shift, 40 hours/week.

 

Hourly wage: $15.00/hour

 

Benefits and PTO start on date of hire.

 

Position Overview:  Must have some previous warehouse experience with record of excellent attendance.

Warehouse located in LaPorte, Indiana. Work in individualized stations, with AS400 computer system and barcode scanners to process credits to customers.  

Responsibilities

Perform repetitive tasks.

Unpackage returns and scan ISBN to determine processing of return.

Capable of standing all day and lifting up to 40-50 pounds on occasion.

Reading and comprehending instructions/procedures.Good communication skills.

Work well with others, but prefer to work alone.Good organizational and Math skills.Computer literate.

Must be 18 years of age.

Standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, crouching, grasping, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, making hearing protection optional but not required.Hearing is necessary due to the automated equipment used (horn honking required to notify pedestrians that vehicles are near).
