Job Description

Jellyfish is looking for an experienced Account Director to work on one of the fastest-growing footwear brands in the industry. We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Account Director with a strong background in retail and paid media to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, who is client-centric and proactive, and possesses excellent leadership and communication skills. As a Digital Marketing Account Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, managing client relationships, and helping to achieve client goals.

Client Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for key retail client, understanding their business objectives, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and strategic consultations.
  • Collaborate with client to understand their goals, challenges, and market dynamics, providing strategic guidance to achieve business objectives.

Campaign Strategy and Planning:

  • Work directly with Media Strategy and Data Planning teams to develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives, emphasizing paid media channels.
  • Work with Data Planning and Market Intelligence teams to conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing plans that leverage various digital channels.

Paid Media Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns, including but not limited to PPC, display & video advertising, and social media advertising.
  • Collaborate with paid media teams to ensure insights and recommendations are meaningful and aspire to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the paid media team to ensure alignment with client goals and industry best practices.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including paid media, media strategy, data planning, analytics, project management, and creative, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client objectives.

Performance Reporting and Analysis:

  • Develop and deliver regular performance reports to clients, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations.
  • Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for optimization.
  • Identify and propose testing and other methodologies to refine and enhance campaign performance.

Qualifications

  • Paid Media Experience a must: Paid Search, Shopping, Paid Social, Video, CTV, and Display
  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Account Director, with a focus on retail and paid media.
  • Prior agency experience preferred, along with the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-channel teams, agency/client partners
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
