What impact you’ll make
 

The Senior Project Manager will co-lead and contribute to end-to-end project management for GE Vernova Supply Chain Development projects. They will lead and guide the proposal, management, and drive the delivery of results on significant scale inter-business projects and initiatives that align with business and stakeholder needs. They will provide operational oversight and insights into key supply chain related initiatives (e.g., transformation, expansion, transfer of work, restructuring, mergers/acquisitions, divestitures, etc.).

The Senior Project Manager will work with cross-functional leaders prioritizing and solving-problems based on voice of the customer and business improvement goals around safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). This is a unique opportunity to help build and define how we work as we continue to transform our global operations.

What you’ll do

  • Contribute to and develop new business cases to support initiatives considering known challenges and changes in the sector and how they relate to the business.
  • Exercise control over significant elements of large-scale and inter-business projects and initiatives, carrying financial accountability for project budgets, and managing interactions cross-functionally and with leadership. 
  • Deploy and ensure that project tollgate standard work and related methodologies (e.g., checklists, read across, post-mortems, make vs. buy workbooks, and criteria for go/no-go) are used for all supply chain development projects.
  • Establish goals and program direction to achieve SQDC, sustainability, and reliability results.
  • Provide project management leadership and direction to the commercial, product line, project, engineering, and other interfacing functional organizations.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate individuals from the functional teams in each project and interact effectively to achieve business results.
  • Effectively communicate and influence partnership programs, interactions, and relationships.
  • Provide for the most efficient use of company assets in pursuit of corrective actions or improvements.
  • Champion and integrate the GE Vernova Way and the Sustainability Framework into GEV Supply Chain Development standard practices.

                     

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or Business
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Supply Chain, Lean, or Sourcing experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with and presenting to global stakeholders at senior level.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to ~50% of the time, with occasional more intense travel depending on project circumstances and status.
  • Excellent communication (oral/written) experience, working and influencing cross-culturally in large, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills.
  • Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills within diverse teams.
  • Transformational change leader, who excels in change management.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to balance thought leadership, continuous learning, and improvement with demonstrated results.
