Overview
CCMSI is seeking an experienced Multi-Line Claim Consultant to join our team supporting a dedicated client account. This role is responsible for investigating and adjusting multi-line claims, with a focus on auto property damage and mid-level bodily injury claims. Experience with commercial trucking claims is highly desirable. We offer a collaborative environment, manageable caseloads, and a flexible hybrid or remote work option.

Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line claims, ensuring compliance with claim handling standards and applicable laws.
- Establish and manage reserves within assigned authority levels.
- Review and oversee medical, legal, damage estimates, and invoices to ensure reasonableness and appropriateness.
- Authorize and issue payments on claims following CCMSI procedures and within payment authority limits.
- Negotiate settlements in line with corporate standards, client-specific instructions, and state regulations.
- Select, refer, and supervise work assigned to outside vendors (e.g., legal, surveillance, case management).
- Monitor subrogation claims and assist in resolution.
- Maintain accurate claim diaries and prepare detailed status reports as needed.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, claimants, and other relevant parties throughout the adjustment process.
- Prepare excess/reinsurance notifications and attend hearings, mediations, and legal conferences as required.
- Conduct claim reviews and training sessions for clients, contributing to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with corporate claim handling standards and client-specific instructions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of multi-line claims handling experience, with a strong emphasis on auto property damage and mid-level bodily injury claims. Commercial trucking experience is highly desirable.
- License: Active adjuster’s license is required.
- Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- High level of initiative and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage job pressures in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
