We are excited to find the next Senior Financial Analyst to join our Central Finance team!  Here at Everbridge, the finance team combines traditional planning and analysis roles with deep business partnership. What you'll do;

  • With a focus on the Go-To-Market organization, you will own the analysis and provision of actionable insights on Everbridge’s Global ARR. You will be providing key commentaries and analysis underpinning go-to-market motion and customer trends as pertaining to the actual variance to budget and forecast. Drilling down to detail on new logos, retention, upsell of products and individual product performance will facilitate strategic decision making and assist the business unit leadership team in managing the overall business. You will also work cross-functionally, ensure consistency and sharing of knowledge across business streams, and working closely with the finance and accounting partners to execute goals.
  • Prepare monthly ARR, retention reporting and analysis including comments and insights for business unit leadership.
  • Maintain and own definition of what qualifies as ARR and compensable sales and drive policy adoption, training and communication in partnership with Sales Ops.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Sales Ops to ensure revenue and bookings reporting accuracy end to end through product launches and/or system upgrades.
  • Lead analytical projects from inception to conclusion with minimal guidance that will inform the company’s strategic plan and drive decision making.
  • Actively participate in M&A integration ensuring visibility of data and partner with IT and other teams to ensure requirements are clearly communicated and delivered.
  • Supporting stakeholders and senior management with other ad-hoc financial analysis to help aid decision making

What you'll bring;

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a Finance department, preferably partnering closely with business unit leadership teams on all aspects of sales pipeline, bookings and revenue dynamics
  • Technical knowledge of SAAS revenue including ARR and ACV including an understanding of ASC 606
  • Ability to build scalable financial processes in a high growth environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, and/or MBA preferred
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, resourcefulness, and ability to follow-through
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work cross-functionally and as well as independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
  • Experience working with global teams is ideal
  • Experience working in SaaS environment with multiple product lines and complex sales is ideal
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills including ability to manage large sets of data on a repeatable basis for efficient and effective reporting turn-around.
  • Experience with SQL or BI tools such as Tableau and/or PBI required. § Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Adaptive experience preferred
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $75,000 - $100,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
