Responsibilities

Saint John Hospital has an opening for a per diem Physical Therapist to join our growing Rehab Team.  We are looking for a flexible and dynamic Physical Therapist who has experience working in the acute care hospital setting.  As our new Physical Therapist, you will:

  • provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services, within scope of practice, in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders
  • perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements
  • function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team
  • weekdays for outpatient with one day per month on weekends for inpatient

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate Degree in Physical Therapy
  • current state Physical Therapy license, or application to KS licensure in progress
  • current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • one year of outpatient orthopedic experience, preferred but not required
