Job Description

VCGT (Vertex Cell and Gene Therapy) is a start-up environment where we are integrating several systems in the cell and gene therapy space. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Systems Senior Specialist in supporting daily material operations and supply chain system solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless data flow, improving operational efficiency, and providing ongoing support for supply chain digital systems, focusing on the Oracle EBS ERP system and related integrations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, identify and fix issues, support system implementations and enhancements. Key

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into system improvements
• Act as conduit between business and IT to prioritize improvements and fixes
• Support system testing, validation, and deployment of new functionalities or upgrade related to Oracle EBS ERP system and its integrations
• Develop training materials and conduct user training to enhance system adoption and proficiency
• Provide ongoing support for daily material operations, assist end users in navigating and utilizing systems, addressing user-reported issues promptly
• Assist users with reporting needs to support supply chain analytics and decision-making
• Support projects related to supply chain digital transformation and automation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Drive required change controls in eQMS to have system changes and processes maintained in a validated state

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 5+ year of related work experience
• Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow up and anticipate challenges
• Utilization of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to lead cross-functional teams
• Experience facilitating meetings (virtual or in-person), and steer discussions while influencing and gaining consensus across multiple functions (Material Operations, Manufacturing, Quality and IT)
• Experience working in a validated system and environments
• Expertise in use of MS Excel, as well as demonstrated proficiencies in PowerPoint, Visio, and Smartsheet
• Experience in data analytics and reporting tools, such as Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), Power BI
• Experience working in a cGMP environment
• Work experience with ERP system implementation projects is an asset

Pay Range

$50-$60/hr
