As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will also provide exceptional customer service, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with both the public and your team. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access within the healthcare location.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed to support site-specific operations.
• Follow all company and client protocols while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
