As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office. </p></div><p>We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for mechanical components and assemblies across Oura’s hardware programs. This role requires strong cross-functional partnership with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Legal, as well as direct engagement with key mechanical suppliers. You will be accountable for building sourcing strategies that enable high-volume production readiness, supplier scalability, and cost/performance optimization—while supporting rapid development cycles and NPI execution.<br><br><strong>This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in our San Francisco office.</strong></p> <p><strong>What you will do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead mechanical sourcing for NPI and sustaining programs, including supplier selection, RFx execution, and award recommendations across key commodities (enclosures, stamped parts, CNC, injection molded parts, die cuts, soft goods)</li> <li>Drive end-to-end commercial negotiations, including pricing, tooling/NRE, payment terms, lead times, capacity commitments, and E&O/liability</li> <li>Partner with Engineering to align design requirements with supplier manufacturing capability, DFM feedback, and risk mitigation</li> <li>Lead supplier onboarding including capability assessments, audits, qualification plans, and readiness reviews</li> <li>Establish and manage supplier performance through KPIs (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness) and structured business reviews (QBRs/MBRs)</li> <li>Build and maintain should-cost models for mechanical parts/assemblies and drive benchmarking to support negotiation strategy</li> <li>Own mechanical supply continuity planning including dual sourcing strategy, geographic risk, capacity constraints, and contingency plans</li> <li>Collaborate with Ops/CM partners to ensure mechanical supply supports prototype builds, ramp readiness, and mass production</li> <li>Support execution activities such as PO placement for
