Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

As our Assistant Controller, you will provide ongoing accounting and financial reporting expertise, including executing and monitoring the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, enhance the accuracy of the entity's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with accepted accounting principles. This Assistant Controller manages a broad array of responsibilities including managing a larger, experienced team, complex process’ and projects, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. The Assistant Controller has the ability to manage a team up to 5.

​​Responsibilities:

• Assist accounting senior management in maintaining and updating a documented system of accounting policies, procedures, and process documents.
• Review and process approved GL maintenance transactions. Complete primary review of specified reconciliations, including daily intercompany transactions and operations. Complete primary review and release of specified manual journal entries.
• Implement new accounting systems and integrate current systems to reduce manual processes and automate controls.
• Assist in executing the month end close process as directed by accounting senior management. Assist with special projects as directed by accounting senior management. Prepare support for independent public accounting auditors, regulators, and internal auditors as directed by accounting senior management.
• Draft technical whitepapers for accounts and mitigate issues.
• Understanding of SOX process and required documentation; create and enhance process’
• Manage issues with internal and external auditors.
• Create models related to complex macroeconomic scenarios and reconcile the outcomes to US GAAP, tax, and regulatory reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years' accounting for large publicly traded or highly regulated organizations
• 3+ years' management experience
