Maintenance Technician

Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, doors:  interior and exterior, water heaters, painting, is required.    

Pay:  17.00 – 19.00

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Position Summary Details ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Technician to complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.  
  Responsibilities

• Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, and other equipment, systems or structures 
• Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities 
• Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary  
• Assists in emergencies as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
• A valid State Drivers License is required.
• Basic knowledge of proper use of power tools, hand tools.
• Recognize various hardware parts and methods of repair for related tasks.
• Must posses organizational skills.
• Must be able to perform unsupervised.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Customer Service Experience 
• 1 yr of similar work experience
