How will you make a difference?

The Engineer will be responsible for supporting engine assembly, specifically main assembly and paint in both Wabtec Grove City, PA engine facilities (GRV and GRR).

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience in reciprocating engine development.

What will your typical day look like?

• Provide engineering and technical guidance for factory issues related to the assembly, paint, and shipment of large medium speed combustion ignition engines.

• Evaluate Non-Conforming Material for usage, repair, or scrap in a timely manner to minimize impact to Grove City Manufacturing.

• Author Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to update CAD models and prints.

• Assist the Supplier Quality Department and Manufacturing Quality Department in identifying main assembly quality issues.

• Provide Engineering support for PPAP’s, Supplier Deviation Requests, Quality Control Plans, and Manufacturing Instruction updates.

• Protect the intellectual property rights of the company.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
