POSITION SUMMARY
In a typical 24-hour production cycle, we conduct 30,000 documented quality checks involving ingredient/packaging, receiving, processing, and packing. That’s how much we care. As a Factory Quality Assurance Manager, you are responsible for assuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards established by the company and various federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. This position will directly supervise the quality department and is responsible for ensuring all manufacturing quality standards are met.
- Manage strategic planning and daily operation of factory Quality Assurance department.
- Participate in the internal and external factory audit programs to verify adherence to certification standards, regulatory requirements, and product process specifications.
- Develop, coach and mentor (including formal training programs as required) Quality Assurance team and factory resources in support of the food safety and quality management systems.
- Coordinate and manage implementation of ISO requirements
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional groups
- Implementation of the factory Q Pillar and support of Total Performance Management (TPM) implementation on the site
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related scientific discipline
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, military or related environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $95,000 - $144,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
