POSITION SUMMARY: The Facility Team Lead will perform and oversee all aspects related to facilities/construction work and 3rd party facility/construction services across all divisions.

REPORTS TO: General Manager of Property Division

SUPERVISES: Facility / Grounds Assistants 

Requirements

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform and oversee the work of all facility personnel, which includes being capable of performing and supervising the following skilled trades: construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC work.
• Effective communication with GM and Custodian Team Leader for the overall Property Management Division.
• Oversee 3rd party services rendered to facilities including quoting and quality control audits
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards to provide exemplary internal customer service. 
• Monitor progress of all projects and adjust as needed.
• Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position.
• Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Previous Supervisor/Leadership experience required.
• Previous experience in building trades - Construction / Electrical / Plumbing / HVAC work preferred

• A valid driver’s license is required to drive a company vehicle.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.
• Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.  
• Visual Acuity: ability to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.
