We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter Technician Facilities to join our team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paints to various surfaces. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a solid understanding of paint techniques. Able to perform in GMP and non-GMP areas in a safe and compliant manner and in accordance to site cGMP policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Working under minimal direction and guidance and be self-motivated, responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following;

  • Respond to Customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Clean, sand, and repair surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion.
  • Apply primer to surfaces to prepare them for the final coat.
  • Follow GMP protocols during surface preparation to maintain compliance.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Mix and match colors to achieve desired shades and finishes.
  • Ensure even coating and high-quality finish, adhering to GMP standards
  • Respond in accordance to cGMP policies and procedures.
  • Performs daily rounds of building, and equipment per work instructions. Identifies health and safety hazards, maintenance and repair issues, and takes appropriate action to remedy findings including prompt notification to management
  • Assist in troubleshooting and emergency situations.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, i.e, Log Books, Work Tickets, PM Documentation in accordance with cGMP good documentation practices.
  • Demonstrate skill and care in the use of tools and materials used within painting trades
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Train colleagues as necessary.
  • Work with internal and external partners.  Provide cGMP oversight of external vendors to ensure they are operating within the cGMP policies and procedures of the area
  • Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment.
  • Store materials properly to ensure their longevity and GMP compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4-6 years of industrial plumbing experience
  • 1-3 years of GMP Facility experience
