Facility Coordinator (Facility Management)

Copper River Infrastructure Services is seeking a Facility Coordinator to join our team onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

• Provide general overall facility management services, including continuous monitoring of office/facility
• Address customer inquiries and concerns ensuring timely and quality issue resolution and service delivery
• Follow up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
• Respond to all facility inquiries and complaints, assess problems and take the necessary corrective action
• Remain knowledgeable regarding all operational aspects of building systems
• Coordinate with and escort outside contractors for the service and repairs of equipment
• Follow protocol for effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedures
• Maintain on-going communication with contractors, client, and team
• Assist with site inspections
• Create work orders and assign work orders to the engineering staff, subcontractors, and vendors
• Report on open and closed work orders and check the status of open work orders with the assigned party
• Verify final invoice pricing and process payments in a timely manner
• Assist in the monitoring and assessment of vendor performance
• Create and record appropriate written communication between all parties
• Schedule and document maintenance and repairs on building equipment
• Communicate frequently with Customer and  vendors to resolve issues and provide  project status updates
• Coordinate special events in support of client
• Manage and maintain customer’s fleet of Golf Carts
• Adjust work schedule to accommodate customer events and protocal

Essential Job Requirements:

• Education:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Associates or Bachelor in facilities management, electronics, building,  government contracting or related field preferred

• Required Knowledge/Experience
  • 2 years as a Facilities Coordinator

• Preferred Knowledge/Experience
  
  • OSHA training preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and proven organizational ability and attention to detail is a must
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible, and deadline-focused
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds
  • Ability to use light hand tools as needed to perform simple facility management tasks
