What’s the role?

Within RE, the Facility Business Management (FBM) Team is responsible to plan, provide, manage, operate and secure workplaces and facilities that enable the business to focus on and achieve their objectives. This must be done in a safe and competitive way, applying fit for Business processes and practices, and using competent staff and suppliers. 

As a Business Analyst you  

Ensure that data and especially finance data from ERPs, Finance and RE systems is credible, reliable, readily available. As one version of truth used to drive better decision for Site managers & wider RE. Act as key focal point for the wider FM EMEA for one source of truth and develop & generate Reports (from Functions Insight Tool or ERPs to Power BI, MS Excel etc) for the same. Help be the main point of contact to support the region with Opex & Capex Optimization and track the same with monthly budget vs actual reporting.

The role requires the willingness to learn and adapt to continuously evolving team needs and challenges. Support the RE Business Manager and the team on any emerging initiative, project & programme and help in the development of tools, processes and standards of the same.

More specifically, your role will:

Deal with complex questions, check correctness of data and adjust with many sources of information necessary. For example, you will liaise with local business representatives to manage expectations on service standards (catering, cleaning, waste management, hospitality, mail, plants, etc); work with service providers to achieve sustainable business improvements; measure performance against set targets.

• Work autonomously, directly supporting management and specialists. Job requires a solid understanding of standard principles. Applies standard techniques or procedures to assigned tasks. Work with moderate supervision.

• Manage the relation with one or more (groups of) internal and external stakeholders on operational/tactical level. Interaction with others demands influencing and persuasion in a tactful manner to explain and advise on performed analyses of information.

• Help develop project management capabilities, process plan, programme, schedule, reporting vs plan, budget and in accordance with governance and chosen methodology as well as bench marking with regions and externally.

• Work in full collaboration and lead where necessary through wide range of teams within RE

• Excellent Business Partnering, build effective trust-based partnerships with internal & external stakeholders.

• This position plays a key role in the successful onboarding of new sites, ensuring qualitative management information to assess and prepare local business cases.

• Learner Mindset and openness to learn PowerApps and Power BI and to put these new skills to deliver best shareholder value and returns.

• Good oral and written language English (other European language would be an asset).

• Good presentation and reporting skills, ability to communicate credibly and influence all stakeholders from Site Manager to VP 

• Strong analytical technique with a delivery-focused mindset
