Facilities Maintenance Worker / Engineer I

Job Summary:

• Maintenance of all areas of the casino to include maintaining the cleanliness, integrity and safety of the company facilities. Work with all departments to insure maintenance needs are met.
• Essential Job Functions:
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to use and operate multiple classifications of tools and equipment.
• Perform required tasks to maintain a safe, clean functioning property.
• Communicate with and meet needs of all departments.
• Possess ability to work in confined spaces, extreme heat, heights, and in dimly lit areas.
• Protect the integrity of the company by identifying and maintaining safety standards in accordance with all governing regulations.
• Accurately and safely perform repairs on building
• Complete work orders in a quick and safe manner.
• Paint inside and outside of building as assigned.
• Run cable/data lines as needed.
• Work safely on ladder.
• Repair walls and furniture as needed.
• Ability to identify maintenance issues and recommend resolution.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other technical duties within realm of knowledge skills and ability as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum of one year previous maintenance experience required preferably in casino environment. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. Must possess knowledge base of general preventative maintenance, repair, construction, electrical, plumbing needs. Must present a well groomed appearance. Must be at least twenty-one years of age. Must posses basic math and computer skills.
