Facilities Maintenance Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Facilities Maintenance Technicians for projects located in Durham, NC.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:  

• Perform interior and exterior painting, power washing and drywall repair 
• Maintain and repair bay doors, sliding doors, door bumpers and seals 
• Service commissary carts, speed racks and pallet jacks, fluids, chains and Castor's
• Replace outlets protectors and reattach conduit piping to the walls 
• Assemble furniture, racks and light equipment
• Minor plumbing repairs as needed 
• Other related tasks assigned 

 

Requirements

• Must be comfortable using power tools and maintenance equipment 
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs 
• Minimum of 2+ years of general building and equipment maintenance 
• OSHA 10, basic mechanical or handyman certifications 
• Must be able to perform physical work 
• Must have basic hand tools and standard PPE 
• Must have reliable transportation
