FACILITIES LEAD TECHNICIAN

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assists Supervisor in the coordination of staff on assigned shift. Works personally with staff to ensure proper maintenance of the structural, electrical, plumbing, and overall integrity of the facility, outbuildings, and grounds. Trains crew members in safe performance of tasks. 

Duties may include repair, maintenance or new construction involving plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, concrete, or HVAC equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assists in the coordination of maintenance personnel in all areas including equipment installation, equipment repair, and preventative maintenance.

Assists in the training of proper use and safety requirements for all jobs and equipment.

Assures building technicians are maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Communicates any observed departmental problems to supervisor.

Assures quality internal/external guest service during scheduled shift.

Adheres to all company and department policies and procedures.

Performs other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED required

TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Three years building construction and general maintenance experience

Hotel maintenance experience preferred

Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC experience preferred.
