Job Description
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for providing support to all facilities, maintenance, and operational needs related to Fugro locations across the Houston area. To ensure efficient vendor management, proper functioning and maintenance of installations, and safe operations. This role will report directly to our Houston facilities manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
- Support the day-to-day facilities and maintenance tasks for all Houston Fugro locations, supervising outsourced maintenance work, identifying needs, and working with vendors to address solutions.
- Define and improve facilities workflows and ensure proper communication with employees, leaders, vendors, and all stakeholders.
- Lead efforts to resolve complex issues and problems that impact the operations of assigned facilities.
- Help in the relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring the proper level of service and compliance with our policies.
- Coordination of work assignments with vendors and contractors, and partnership with the procurement function.
- Regularly visit various company locations, identifying facility needs and discussing resolution plans.
- Help manage the annual facility budget, including facility-related invoices and coding.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety, Environment, and Risk Management policies.
- Support in managing all notices of complaints to owners in leased buildings, necessary permits, and certifications.
- Help maintain records of repairs, service contracts, and warranties.
- Various facilities duties, as needed.
- Availability for after-hour phone calls and site visits periodically or in an emergency.
Job Requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Reliable means of transportation and active driver’s license.
- Possess attention to detail, excellent time management skills and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing facilities and maintenance functions a plus but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
