Position: Facilities Controls Support Specialist
Location: Aurora St. Luke's; Milwaukee, WI. - but travel to facilities will be required
Full Time; 1st Shift
Main Responsibilities
Diagnoses and manages the resolution of complex controls systems malfunctions or issues to improve efficiency and resiliency of healthcare facilities.
Supports Facilities Operations staff across a broad, multi-state area to serve as a subject matter expert in operations towards energy efficiency and effective control operations.
Supports Energy and Sustainability teams to ensure organizational goals are being met through effective use of Facilities systems and technology.
Supports Planning, Design, and Construction to review HVAC controls specifications and submittals. Review and make recommendations in accordance with system standards and good practice.
Supports Information Technology on appropriate setup and resources for multiple Facilities Technology applications.
Coordinates training programs with vendors for Facilities Operations staff in effective and efficient use of Building Automation Systems.
Manages multiple Building Automation System applications and other Facilities Technology applications for coordination of downtime, security patching, backups, user management, and system audits to ensure proper operation of the system for use by Facilities Operations in accordance with system standards and good practice.
Education
- Associate's degree in Engineering or related field.
Certification / License
- Certification as installer or programmer from the manufacturer in one of the following applications: Desigo, Metasys, Niagara Framework, Tracer, ICONICS.
Work Experience
- 5 years of experience in building automation systems, HVAC equipment, or facilities operations.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Self-driven and able to work independently.
Excellent communication, organization, prioritization and time management skills.
Ability to balance multiple tasks/projects.
