Responsibility & Authority:

The Team Lead is responsible for participating in and leading day-to-day warehouse activities. The Lead is also responsible for meeting production goals, setting a positive example for team members at all times and for training and certifying new inspectors, forklift operators and other team members as assigned on the correct processes and work instructions and for understanding and teaching according to Bluegrass’ mission, vision and value standards. The Lead is responsible for ensuring that adequate tools and supplies are on hand and assists the supervisor in monitoring time and attendance. The Lead also works with the supervisor also continually develop, mentor and build meaningful relationships with team members, working to providing positive and corrective feedback where appropriate. The Lead maintains 5S at all times and works with the Supervisor to hold each team member accountable for favorable or unfavorable performance.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Lead to join our Bowling Green, KY team. The Team Lead will be responsible for supervising warehouse operations, ensuring that daily objectives are met, and maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. This role involves coordinating team activities, providing guidance to team members, and collaborating with management to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations and team activities. 
• Provide direction, training, and support to team members to meet production and quality goals. 
• Assist with other warehouse duties as required
• Follow written instructions and adhere to all safety protocols
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment
• Ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks performed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
