About the role

Saxo is looking for a Temporary Non-Financial Risk Support & Advisory professional to join our Group Non-Financial Risk Management function for the period of 1 February - 30 June 2026.

This temporary position is located within the Second Line of Defence (2LoD) and plays a key role in supporting and advising the business on the management of non-financial risks across the Group.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the global organisation, contributing to a strong risk culture and ensuring that non-financial risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and managed in line with Saxo’s risk framework and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

As part of the 2LoD Non-Financial Risk Support & Advisory team, your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Supporting and advising the first line of defence on non-financial risk management topics
  • Contributing to the development, maintenance, and implementation of non-financial risk frameworks, policies, and standards
  • Assisting with risk assessments, risk reporting, and monitoring of key non-financial risk indicators
  • Supporting governance processes, including risk committees, issue management, and follow-up on remediation actions
  • Providing input on regulatory and internal requirements related to non-financial risks
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across business units, compliance, and other risk functions

Your profile

We are looking for someone who brings structure, analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset. Ideally, you have:
 

  • Experience or strong interest in non-financial risk management, operational risk, or enterprise risk within a financial institution
  • Understanding of the Three Lines of Defence model, preferably with exposure to a 2LoD role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels
  • A proactive and structured approach to tasks and deadlines
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken

Experience from banking, financial services, or a regulated environment is an advantage.
