2nd Shift Spotter (CDL REQUIRED)/Material Handler

Position Purpose:  

Drives trucks or tractors at vehicle parking or loading docking area in order to move, position or park trailers. 

Essential Duties: 

• Drives trucks around dock area for Transportation Company or department 

• Spots (positions) loaded or unloaded trailers at assigned docks for unloading or loading using tractor 

• Connects loaded trailers to tractors for delivery drivers 

• Fuels tractors  

• Assists workers in loading and unloading truck and trailers 

• Maintains truck in proper working condition 

• Other duties, as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience: 

• Able to read, write and speak English 

• Able to sit for 8 hours 

• Able to lift and carry 70lbs 

• Must have a valid and clear driving record 

• Must pass a DOT Physical 

Education / Certifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent

This position requires the wearing of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) consisting of eye protection while on the production floor as well as hearing protection in designated areas.
