Job Description

We're looking for a Lighting Designer Intern to join our LIAS Team in Madrid.

Conventional light sources are rapidly replaced with electronic light sources (LED) and this has enabled the use of digital technology to connect and control lighting and increase functionality in a way that was never possible before.

As our new Sales Application Specialist you will be responsible for supporting customer’s projects and doing lighting planning and design of street, tunnel and headlight lighting. This includes relationship building with customers necessary to achieve business objectives for the region.

What you’ll do

• Support in creating awareness and understanding of the role lighting plays in enhancing spaces
• Explain how to achieve desired light effects / levels with products in our portfolio
• Supporting salespeople and customers with lighting calculations
• Assess potential application of company products to meet customer's needs
• Prepare detailed designs and layouts for the implementation of an appropriate lighting solution
• Support in achieving sales targets
• Provide input to product development and marketing on new opportunities 

What you’ll need

• Education degree in engineering or architecture
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD y valorable lighting applications (Dialux, Calculux, Relux)
• A problem solving and solution-oriented approach to the job is needed
• High customer focus and the drive for customer excellence
• You are enthusiastic, a good team player and good at building relationships
• Good knowledge of English and Spanish language skills (French and Italian highly valued)
