Slot Technical Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Primarily responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of all electronic gaming devices EGD’s.  Will be required to assist the Slot Technical Manager with tracking attendance, performance, and supervising the day-to-day operations of the Slot Technical Department.  This position will be responsible for providing feedback to the Slot Technicians such as coaching the team and ensuring that all internal and external policies and procedures are being followed while continuously providing excellent guest service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Must be a team player as well as being able to mentor and team build/train other workers
• Is fully autonomous and doesn’t need the direction of a supervisor to start projects, perform duties, and maintain the technician shop.
• Maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to substitute for the tech IV (technician shop manager) in their absence.
• Coordinate with the technician manager for upcoming projects.
• Must review sign in/out sheets for accuracy and correct if needed.
• Must be able to delegate tasks to technicians and train technicians to be able to complete said tasks.
• Coordinate machine moves and run and approve coin tests.
• Create new policies that conform with gaming regulations as needed.
• Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, AV systems, player tracking card systems, gaming devices, safety equipment, etc.
• Knowledge of various types of electronic gaming equipment used on casino floor and demonstrate the skills and ability to diagnose problems, take corrective action necessary, and ensure device is operational as quickly and efficiently as practical.
• Monitors and enforces attendance policy.
• Monitors performance standards for Casino Technicians’ regularly and ensures work procedures are followed.
• Maintains tech matrix for Tech Rockstars program.
• Prepares work schedules and assignments.
• Performs annual evaluations.
• Maintain input of data into the player tracking system in regard to machine relocations, removals and conversions.

• Understand and comply with established appearance standards.
• Understand and comply with the Eye-Hi-Goodbye program.
• Other duties as assigned.
