Purpose

Provide administrative, collaborative, and technical support for iOS devices, specifically in the critical support of iOS tablets and cellular devices within the UT Works program.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for staff seeking technical support for iOS devices within the TRecs customer fleet. Work with departments to tailor their application needs within JAMF boundaries and ensure that they comply with UT software licensing requirements.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations, standards, and best practices pertaining to iOS technology and digital working environments. Ensure that all managed devices are in compliance with UT iOS policies. Coordinate customer needs with existing central IT service offerings.
• Coordinate with management to design, implement, and maintain a mobile device training program, including any appropriate documentation or videos required to support users. This may include regularly scheduled trainings or meetings to ensure users understand how to use their mobile device. Develop educational resources for sharing with end users.
• Manage mobile device updates and user notifications. Develop lifecycle process for device replacements, which may require alternative shift(s) to reach all users, including those who work in the evenings. Establish a regular schedule of availability with guidance from sponsoring departments.
• Coordinate with cellular provider or UT cellular plan contact to register devices, enroll in Apple School Manager, enroll into appropriate scope within JAMF, and to assign
