WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Study parts list and gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
• Follow blueprints and schematics to ensure the final product is built correctly
• Use hand tools or machines to position or align parts and subassemblies, either manually or with hoists
• Mount circuit boards into larger assemblies or casings, and ensure proper soldering and installation of electrical wiring
• Perform tests on finished products before packaging, and troubleshoot equipment before it shipped to customer sites
• Work on a team responsible for the manufacture, assembly, and testing of the Company’s food safety intervention or sanitation systems.
• Keep the area and equipment clean and safe
• Become cross-trained on welding and fabrication of the cabinetry, framework, and piping, system testing, and equipment assembly practices before shipment to customer sites.?
• Complete device history records and daily production logs
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.?
• Work with engineers to assist with product development
YOUR MUST HAVES:
- 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly position, or position with similar electrical skills.
- Read and comprehend documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Work with mathematical concepts such as probability, algebra, and geometry.
- Utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions. Demonstrate strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Adaptability & flexibility - can change plans in the moment and make tactical adjustments appropriately. Remains calm and confident even in stressful situations.
- Detail Oriented
OUR ENVIRONMENT:
This position is based in our manufacturing plant environment. Expected exposure to wet, hot, cold, various shifts, requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Constant (role requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day)
