Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Assisted Stretching Sessions:
- Deliver one-on-one, customized assisted stretches to members to address their individual needs and goals.
- Assess Members Needs:
- Evaluate Members flexibility, mobility, and muscle tightness to develop personalized stretch programs.
- Educate Members:
- Teach members about proper stretching techniques and the benefits of assisted stretching for range of motion, muscle tension relief and improved performance.
- Ensure Members Safety:
- Adhere to policies and safety rules to prevent injuries and ensure proper form during sessions.
- Maintain Member Records:
- Keep detailed notes on member limitations, progress, and goals for future sessions.
- Promote Services and Membership:
- Assist sales associates in promoting Stretch Zones memberships and retaining clientele.
- Maintain Studio Environment:
- Keep the studio and equipment clean and organized to ensure they are ready for member use.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service:
- Create a welcoming environment and build strong, compassionate relationships with clients.

Background in Fitness/Health: A background in kinesiology, exercise science, anatomy, or related fields is often preferred.

Certifications: Fitness certifications (e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA) or other bodywork certifications may be required or preferred.

Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues is essential.

Client-Focused Attitude: A passion for helping others and a commitment to providing excellent customer care are necessary.

Professionalism and Reliability: A professional work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are expected.

Physical Stamina: The ability to work hands-on with clients is a key component of the role.
- Stretch Practitioners Training Program:
- All candidates must complete Stretch Zones comprehensive Paid training program, which includes online courses, an in-person practicum, and hands-on practice.
Most stretching methodologies try to wait out, overpower, trick, or ignore the stretch reflex. The proven way to increase performance and mobility is to work with the stretch reflex with the revolutionary techniques available through the Stretch Zone® Methodology (SZM). The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then tries to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness.

As a minimum prerequisite to SZM we recommend a personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF and/or a license in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work.
