The Global Patriot Sub Strategic Business Unit within the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit of Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Finance professional to assume the role of Finance Lead (M3) for the Patriot Spares Program supporting the Sustainment Business Manager. The Patriot Spares Finance Lead position will provide a tremendous growth opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to lead dynamic Department of War programs.
The selected candidate will have significant exposure to Global Patriot leadership and will work closely with the Sustainment Program Teams and functional support leads on making financial, contractual, execution, and resource decisions. The selected candidate will have 1 direct report and be responsible for financial excellence across all program finance and business-related activities including cost and schedule execution and reporting, Estimates at Complete (EACs), financial planning and analysis (FP&A), proposal support, cash management, resource management including staffing and investments, audit support, and contract startup, execution, and closeout.
The selected candidate must excel at multi-tasking, effective and influential communication, innovative problem solving, and must have a firm understanding of financial principles common to the aerospace and defense industry.
This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (onsite & remote). The preferred candidate will be located within a commutable distance to Tewksbury, MA. Relocation assistance is not being provided.
What You Will Do
Internal and External Deliverables
Growth and development of direct report
Prepare and brief finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required
Quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs) of required programs
Support the development of the long range and annual operating plans
Monthly forecast development and presentation (FP&A)
Support proposal development and program startup / contract closeout activities
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field & a minimum of 5 years of related work experience; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC's) or similar systems and tools
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience with Raytheon business systems including SAP, BW, RPlan, EDIT+ or a similar system
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer
Understanding of Operations Labor Processes (Ops)
Experience with proposal & pre-proposal management
Experience with company funded investment vehicles (CFR/AR)
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form
Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvement
