Schedule: $30-$45 per hour with $7,000 sign-on bonus
Job Summary:
As a Surgical Tech, you will be an essential part of the operating room team, responsible for ensuring that equipment is properly sterilized, the operating room is prepared for surgery, and that the surgical team has everything they need to perform surgeries safely and effectively. You will work alongside surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, and play a crucial role in maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating room prior to surgery, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
- Assist surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and nurses.
- Monitor patient vitals during surgery and alert surgical team to any changes.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces before and after surgery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patient care is coordinated and effective.

Requirements
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in the operating room preferred. Orthopedic experience preferred.
- New graduates from a CST program are welcome to apply.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
