The Role

Our cloud footprint provides a great opportunity for those passionate about building scalable software to put their prior experience into action and to grow their careers. This role’s main focus will be to write software to help us advance some of our homegrown Cloud Security tooling. Our team builds and maintains critical applications that help to secure our cloud environments at scale and the candidate that fills this role will become a core contributor to these applications.

You may be a good fit for our team if…

• You have substantial software development experience, as well as architecting and operating applications in cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments. Our team develops full stack applications with a stack primarily running Python backed by AWS Lambda and DynamoDB, with additional stacks that include Golang, Postgres, and front end technologies.
• You have experience codifying infrastructure (Terraform preferred).
• You have experience securing cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) infrastructure.
• You are willing to participate in an on-call rotation that responds to infrastructure incidents.
• You agree with, understand, and consistently display the principles of HashiCorp in your interactions and in your work.
• You are passionate about identifying security-related issues, as well as designing and delivering solutions to resolve them.
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• You are comfortable working on a remote and globally distributed team.
