About the Role:

This role reports to the Vice President in P&C and will be one of 5 HRBPs; The VP is over Business Operations and Strategy for People & Culture; you will be on the Strategy side but also interact with Business Operations. The HRBP is the face and voice of HR/People & Culture in the business areas and also brings back the business area perspective to the Centers of Excellence within People & Culture. Essentially the role is a conduit between People & Culture and their assigned business areas. The role can be filled at either the P3 (HRBP 2) or P4 (Sr. HRBP) level depending on skills and experience.

You Will:

  • Serve as a strategic partner for multiple and/or complex business lines within the Bank in support of organizational strategies to achieve business plans and objectives.

  • Operate as a collaborative partner that builds and leverages cross-functional relationships to bring together information, ideas, and industry analysis to develop and implement best people practices.

  • Implement and monitor human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, equal opportunity and diversity, etc.

  • Anticipate and plan for long-term human resource needs and trends.

  • Lead cross-functional teams and/or projects.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Masters degree preferred

  • Minimum of 7 years HR or equivalent experience, preferably across different Centers of Excellence; SPHR certification or equivalent preferred

  • Demonstrated an understanding of how to use business intelligence to drive decision making and help the organization and business areas operate more effectively and efficiently

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies around workforce planning, including succession management, compensation planning, etc.

  • Ability to facilitate discussions on sensitive topics and use compelling arguments to influence others and gain support and commitment

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements

Notes:

This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
